Advertise on the radio using Google

Google has launched a service allowing your business to advertise on the radio. Here is how it works:

1. Create an audio clip of your ad and some type of call to action (ie: “Visit www.yoursite.com/free to get your free quote”)

2. Upload to Google and choose the type of radio station, geographic regions and times of day you would like to ad to play. Depending on your choices, the price varies.

3. Setup a budget with Google and confirm when your radio ad should begin playing

Once that is all setup it is important to gauge the effectiveness of your radio ad by monitoring your Google Analytics reports.

An effective radio ad should:

1. Drive traffic to your website
2. Generate qualified leads via your website or telephone number
